Peter Scott is the owner and proprietor of Smart Driver Academy. He guarantees you a high level of customer satisfaction.

​At Smart Driver Academy we guarantee that if any customer is not fully satisfied with the quality of service or you feel your driving lesson did not meet all your needs, then you will not be charged.

"I respect my customers and I am determined that everyone should be totally satisfied. I feel that you must always have a value-for-money experience every lesson. If that is not the case, I do not deserve the payment".

​This is a no-quibble guarantee. It applies to the current driving lesson and any pre-paid future lessons. Lessons previously taken are not refundable, however if for any reason, you become dissatisfied part-way through a block of pre-paid lessons, then the unused portion of lessons are refundable at the pro-rata rate paid after discounts.

Cash payment on the day of the lesson is the traditional and most commonly used way to pay. Please pay at the start of the lesson. If you don’t have enough cash, and need to use an ATM to get some money, please explain this at the start of the lesson so that provision can be made to stop at a cash-point. I don’t usually have the correct change, so please try bring the correct money with you, thanks.


Total Drive (TD App) Payments made using the App will credit my account if paid 24 hours in advance and will simultaneously automatically credit your App account with the appropriate number of lesson(s) purchased. A small service charge applies.

Online payments Payments direct to our bank must be paid 2 working days or more in advance of your lesson in order to clear subject to your bank payments system.
